چکیده

O. laqueus was first discovered not long ago in 2005 the Ryuku Islands, Japan. Its geographical distribution and molecular identification are therefore still rarely. Nucleotide sequences based on mt-DNA COI for that have been uploaded GenBank until before this study carried out were only six sequences. Since DNA barcoding of has some advantageous characteristics, aimed to analyse genetic difference Indonesian data available GenBank. Samples collected 2019 - 2020 from Karimunjawa (n=16) Bangka-Belitung (n=2). The extracted using 10% chelex methods, PCR amplified Folmer’s primer sequenced Sanger methods. Pairwise alignment distance MEGA-X, whereas phylogenetic tree reconstructed Bayesian BLAST resulted 685 bp with a range 92,07-99,24 percentages identity. mean pair-wise distances within-clade 0,002 0,006, whilst between clade 0.0883. Combining suggestion ITF current, it is concluded taken raised same species as those Malaysia (MN711655) Japan (AB302176). Specimens suggested came different species, they separated into second by 8.83%. One single sample (AB430543) which laid outside two clades 11.63%-11.38% also represent species. Overall, opens various further studies other loci markers.

Phylogeographical Analysis of Octopus Vulgaris (mollusca, Cephalopoda) in the Mediterranean: Insights from the Coi Mitochondrial Gene

This work reports a genetic data of Octopus vulgaris, marine species of high commercial value, from nineteen localities of Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Adriatic regions. We used mitochondrial DNA cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) gene to investigate the genetic structure of common octopus. Our results indicated a significant genetic structuring in the study area (Phi = 0.136, P <0.001) an...

Octopus tetricus (Mollusca: Cephalopoda) as an ecosystem engineer ; Octopus tetricus (Mollusca: Cephalopoda) como ingeniero de ecosistemas

The Sydney octopus (Octopus tetricus) occurs in unusual numbers on a shell bed of its prey remains that have accumulated as an extended midden where additional octopuses excavate dens. Here, O tetricus are ecosystem engineers, organisms that modulate availability of resources to other species and to their own species by causing physical state changes in materials. A community of invertebrate gr...

Further Insights on the Genetic Structure and Connectivity in Octopus Vulgaris (mollusca, Cephalopoda) Inferred by Mitochondrial Coi Sequences

The genetic variability of the COI gene was studied in the common octopus, Octopus vulgaris Cuvier, 1797. A total of 222 individuals from 7 sampling sites were analysed with the aim of elucidating patterns of genetic variation along the coasts of Sardinia (Western Mediterranean). A total of 17 different haplotypes were identified with four principal haplotypes recorded in all locations. The pai...

automatic verification of authentication protocols using genetic programming

implicit and unobserved errors and vulnerabilities issues usually arise in cryptographic protocols and especially in authentication protocols. this may enable an attacker to make serious damages to the desired system, such as having the access to or changing secret documents, interfering in bank transactions, having access to users’ accounts, or may be having the control all over the syste...

Observations on feeding and biochemical characteristics to improve larviculture of Robsonella fontaniana (Cephalopoda: Octopodidae)

At present, the production of merobenthic octopuses with a post-eclosion planktonic phase is a great challenge for global aquaculture. So far, juveniles from only four species have been reported to have been obtained under controlled rearing conditions: Octopus vulgaris, Octopus joubini, Enteroctopus dofleini and Robsonella fontaniana, the only Chilean species. Robsonella fontaniana (Orbigny, 1...
